Here's a few things I have been up to. We have a group that makes a center and we add to it. If you scroll down you will see some of there quilt tops. But these are 2 I really liked doing the one I made a template for the half circle I added to hers and then I appliqued it with a scalloped stitch.

The other is my daughters center she embroidered on my machine and then I added the outer edge.

Stash Bee Tutorial

To use template right click and save the picture in your file. When you go to print it use full page its a little big so use the line on the inside.

I will be posting the tutorial on this site too. Hope to do that this weekend. I'm looking forward to this stash bee.There is 3 shades of green for leaves and med pink or mauve batik for the petal. It will be a 6 1/2" block. I will be putting 4 of these together to form a 12" flower block it should be fun. Sotheby's only thing I really want is the batik not a specific brand just that color scheme.

What's New

Im hosting a house block exchange on the Quilting Board Site. I'm looking foward to posting some photos of the blocks I make. I also joined the Stash Bee and am excited about that new venture. I have been cutting out layer cakes to post on eBay to sell and some jellyrolls.

Passing the block is moving right along and will be posting some pictures for everyone to keep up with. I also will be posting some of the digitizing patterns I am designing.

My blog will be posting pictures of talented quilters who I am privileged to be able to work with. The way it works is we each make a block or two and it is passed on to other people in the group to add their special creative talents to make a beautiful or sometimes whimsical quilt top. We have finished one round of tops and I will be posting pictures of these as they progressed and then the final result. I hope you enjoy watching the steps of this as much as we do.
